Country import guides
How importing works in each country for an online seller: duty and tax thresholds, how charges are collected, IDs the buyer needs and what is restricted.
Updated
Each country guide answers the same questions for one destination: what a parcel pays and above what value, who collects it (the carrier, the post or the seller at checkout), which IDs the buyer or seller needs, what's restricted, and what tends to hold parcels up. Larger markets have their own pages for the rules that need more room, such as US Section 232 duties or EU VAT.
For the numbers on one product, border.bot's import rules by country show each country's VAT or GST rate, de minimis threshold, tariff and trade programs from live data, and the landed cost calculator adds them up for an order.

Comparing countries#
Two tables cover every country at once: de minimis values by country, the value below which no duty or no import tax is charged, and import tax rates by country, the standard VAT, GST or sales tax rate charged at import. The country codes page lists the ISO codes customs forms and APIs use.
